In September, 2002, Scott Underwood accepted a 3-month, consulting position with TravelWorm as a Senior Interface Designer. Scott’s primary objectives were to assist with the redesign and development of TravelWorm’s corporate website. Scott’s primary responsibilities included:

· Executing Interface & Usability Design
· Preparing Graphics for Optimization
· Executing HTML Development
· Coordination with Junior Designers & Senior Engineers

Scott expert-level knowledge with the principles and software of web design, production and development have enabled TravelWorm to successfully launch (11/1/02) a dynamic transactional website. His dedication and reliability have been a tremendous help to the entire Engineering Team (includes Design, Development and Systems). Scott is a detailed, conscientious designer who shows great initiative to suggest new and improved methods and processes for accomplishing day-to-day tasks and short-term objectives. He has been helpful and sincere when assisting other employees and is well respected by all. Our new website clearly demonstrates Scott’s abilities to work on a project of this scope. As a result of design and enhancements, TravelWorm’s new website has generated dramatic increases in revenue, conversions and new membership.

He has taken the lead in providing requirements analysis and project estimations, translating business requirements to technical specifications and designing and documentation within the graphic design discipline. Scott has a very strong knowledge of web architecture and design, and has been a very valuable member of our Core Architecture team. Scott Underwood has been an excellent resource for marketing and product development. He demonstrates the leadership and results-oriented skills and attitude required to deliver the quality web design support for which the PD team came to expect on his projects. As a key strategic resource, Scott exceeded marketing expectations on the design, mock and completion of the AOL/Netbusiness buyer and seller User Interface and Navigational VSA projects as well as most marketplace graphics in the PurchasePro network. These projects required exceptional proficiency and multi-tasking abilities in perfecting use of the web design tools necessary to manage the expectations of PPRO's strategic partners and their marketplace entry pages and user experiences such as Gateway, AOL, Sprint, LawCommerce and other customized marketplaces. Scott has definitely emerged as a key strategic force in executing on the design requirements for the very demanding and time-consuming Netbusiness relationship and played a key role in managing the customer's expectations, exercising very good problem-solving and decision-making skills.

These skill sets along with Scott's core knowledge of the web design process and its importance to PPRO's ability to deliver market leading, competitive advantages in its timeliness in deploying marketplaces add value to and are key components of success in any business function and environment. His ability to drive accountability and create user interfaces that enhance the user experience in online marketplaces remain core to the company's need for continual improvement in these areas to launch successful marketing campaigns that drive supplier and buyer adoption within Strategic Marketplaces. Scott continues to deliver projects on time and within design and budget specifications while continually making enhancement recommendations and communicating effectively to the business owner regarding deployment timelines and other project details.
