| As a web designer
and developer, graphic artist and Internet veteran with more than fifteen
years of experience, I was excited to hear of your position for a graphics
designer and Internet developer. Currently, I'm employed in Las Vegas,
serving as a web intrerface engineer at Arcata Associates based at Nellis
Air Force Base, a leading contractor to the Department of Defense. Areas
of my responsibilities at Arcata include creating, designing, programming
and maintaining the company’s corporate intranet and Nellis Air
Force's Mission Planning Web Software. I'm also employed in Las
Vegas, serving as a design consultant at Cleo-Design, a leading home and
interior design firm. Areas of my responsibilities at Cleo include creating,
designing and maintaining the company’s corporate website and online
initiatives.
Prior to Cleo-Design, I served as a senior interface designer for more than four years at PurchasePro.com, a publicly traded e-commerce company in Las Vegas where I was responsible for concept design, html coding, and redesigning the look and feel of the company’s product suite. Upon leaving PurchasePro, I served as the primary graphic designer for TravelWorm.com where I redesigned the company’s website, designed print advertisements that were distributed nationwide and generated new html code for its online products. Earlier in my career, I served as a technology educator and chairman of technology initiatives at Cactus Shadows High School in Flagstaff, Arizona for nearly ten years. In this position, I was responsible for developing curriculum for the school’s technology, physics and chemistry courses, outlining the school’s technology goals and implementing technological products in the classroom. I possess a strong work ethic and do my best work in a fast-paced environment. I would like to put my experience and abilities to work for you.
